Please join us in welcoming Nichi Linder, our new Organizing Director! We are thrilled to have Nichi join our growing team and we know you’ll love her too.
Nichi brings with her years of experience organizing in the reproductive rights and justice movement. In her last eight years working in Oregon’s progressive political community, she has had an opportunity to see real social change happen through the hard work of grassroots organizing. She has led the charge on many facets of advocacy, with a particular focus on volunteer leadership development.
As a mother to two young boys who has experienced the challenges of a working parent firsthand, she understands the critical need to organize our community to win solid gains in women’s economic security and the need to tear down the systemic barriers facing the most vulnerable in our community; specifically at the intersections of race, class, and gender.
Some other things to know about Nichi:
Nichi is a fierce feminist who believes strongly in the power of grassroots movement to create real social change in our communities. When women, particularly women of color, are lifted up, we all win. She has dedicated her professional career to creating positive change that betters the lives of Oregonians. She is an activist, a mother, an aspiring gardener, and a dedicated social justice warrior who knows learning never stops – and the fight for justice is worth it.
If you have any questions for Nichi or want to know how you can get more involved, you can reach her at firstname.lastname@example.org. We are so happy that she’s joined our team and we look forward to her contributions and valuable expertise to help win policies that support all Oregon families!
