Join Family Forward for a day at the Oregon State Capitol this spring!

We know that long-term, meaningful change doesn’t happen overnight, or with lawmakers alone — we all have a role to play in the process. We’re planning a day of education and advocacy that will help you better understand the Oregon Legislature, how it connects to Family Forward’s long-term advocacy work, and most importantly, where you fit in.

Whether you’re new to political activism or you know a little bit but want to know more, we want you here! We hope you leave the day feeling empowered, and like you have the tools to make your voice heard on the issues that matter most to you and your family.

Date: Thursday, April 25th
Time: 10am to 4pm (lunch and snacks provided). Registration begins at 9:30.
Location: In Salem, exact location provided upon registration

This event is meant for any mama or caregiver who wants to take the next step in their political activism. Child care will be provided!*

*Participants needing child care must register by Sunday, April 21st to guarantee a child care spot.

¡Únete a Family Forward por un día en el Capitolio del Estado de Oregón esta primavera!

Sabemos que el cambio significativo a largo plazo no ocurre de la noche a la mañana, o solo con los legisladores, todos tenemos un papel que desempeñar en el proceso. Estamos planeando un día de capacitaciones que te ayudarán a comprender mejor la Legislatura de Oregón, cómo se conecta con el trabajo de abogacía de Family Forward a largo plazo y, lo que es más importante, dónde encajas tú en este trabajo.

Si eres nuevo en el activismo político o sabes un poco, pero quieres saber más, ¡considera unirte al evento! Esperamos que al terminar del día te sientas más capacitado, y que tengas las herramientas para hacer que tu voz sea escuchada sobre el tema que más te importe.
