Position Summary: We are seeking an Organizing Director, who will be responsible for overseeing our statewide organizing program and ensuring that it meets organizational goals. We are building a new organizing program, one that will combine elements of transformational and power-based organizing, and that will involve more mothers and other caregivers in grassroots systems change and political work. The Organizing Director will hold the vision, set direction, supervise a team of regional organizers, and build a leadership program. This is a great opportunity for someone with deep organizing, leadership and training experience who can turn a vision for transformational organizing into reality. The Organizing Director will report to the Executive Director and will work closely with our Deputy Director, Political Director, Policy Director and Communications Director. They will also supervise a team of Regional Organizers.
