Our health care system is broken—and it’s killing us. For-profit insurers and corporate middlemen deny care, drive up costs, and profit off our pain. Decades of piecemeal reforms have only made things worse: skyrocketing prices, massive waste, and some of the worst health outcomes among wealthy countries.

We say: enough.

We demand a system that puts people before profit—where health care is treated as a human right, not a business.

On Saturday, May 31, 2025 we joined the Working Families Party and a number of their partners and sponsors to talk about our communities’ need for affordable, accessible care in all its forms. Like child care, we believe everyone deserves access to health care, which is why we support Single Payer.
